IGT executives honored at 2021 Women in Games Awards

The 11th annual awards program rewards and recognizes individuals and organizations for outstanding devotion to enhancing equality, diversity, and inclusion.

IGT Senior Director EMEA and LAC Marketing and Gaming was honored with the “Outstanding Contribution” Award, while IGT’s Vice President of Field Services, Call Center and Technology Operations, Shondra Deloach-Perea was honored with the “Innovation in Employee Engagement” award.

International Game Technology (IGT) announced on Friday that two of its leaders were recently recognized in the 2021 Women in Gaming Diversity Awards. The 11th annual awards program rewards and recognizes individuals and organizations for outstanding devotion to enhancing equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Jennifer Bowman, IGT Senior Director EMEA and LAC Marketing, Gaming, was honored with the “Outstanding Contribution” award. With more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, Bowman has held various leadership roles spanning compliance, product management, event production, sales enablement, and marketing. As an advocate for the advancement of women in the workplace, Bowman is the IGT ambassador to the U.K. chapter of The United Nations Global Compact Target Gender Equality program and frequently speaks at industry events where she shares insights acquired throughout her career in the gaming industry.

Shondra Deloach-Perea, IGT Vice President Field Services, Call Center & Technology Operations, was honored with the “Innovation in Employee Engagement” award. With a 13-year career in the gaming industry that spans the regulator and supplier sides of the business, Deloach-Perea is a leader, diversity and inclusion champion, and an advocate of “the power of we.” In addition to her duties as a global IGT executive, Deloach-Perea is a hands-on advisor who is involved in many IGT-led employee engagement programs such as the Global Diversity & Inclusion Council; the Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN with IGT); NexGen diversity and inclusion group; IGT Las Vegas Leadership Council; and member of the company’s talent retention and acquisition program that prioritizes underrepresented dimensions of diversity and inclusion.
